Step by Step

How to measure your foot

Do this in the afternoon — feet swell slightly through the day, so you get a truer size.

  1. 1

Set up on a hard floor

Place a sheet of paper flat against a wall. Stand on it with your heel touching the wall, wearing the socks you’d normally wear with the shoes.

  2. 2

    Mark the longest toe

Keep your weight on the foot and mark the paper at the tip of your longest toe.

  3. 3

    Measure heel to toe

Measure the distance from the wall edge to your mark in centimeters. That number is your foot length.

  4. 4

    Measure both feet

Repeat for the other foot. Most people have one slightly larger foot — always use the bigger measurement.

  5. 5

    Match it to the chart

Find your foot length in the conversion chart below and read across to your US size. If you land between two sizes, size up.

Unisex Sizing

Reading a unisex size

Our footwear is listed in US Men’s sizing, which is the standard for unisex styles. If you normally wear a US Women’s size, subtract 1.5 to get the equivalent unisex size — for example, a US Women’s 9 is a unisex (US Men’s) 7.5.

πŸ‘ŸQuick rule: US Women’s size − 1.5 = unisex (US Men’s) size. When in doubt, go by your foot length in the chart below — it’s the most reliable number.

Sandals & Slides

These run close to your true size. If you’re between sizes, size down for a snug fit or stay at your measured size for a relaxed one.

πŸ‘Ÿ

Athletic Shoes

True to size for most feet. If you wear thick socks or want a little more room, size up by a half.

πŸ‘¨

Wide or High-Volume Feet

If your feet run wide or high in the instep, go up a half size for comfort — the foot-length number is still your best starting point.
